BRING WITH YOU knitting needles No. 2, 3 or 4 and some wool
She will introduce us Icelandic textile tradition with a focus on typical Icelandic footwear made from sheepskin leather or fish skin with a special hand knitted insert for the shoe. Icelanders call it “ilepp”. Later we will learn knitting of multi-colored traditional floral motif – flower with eight petals.
