On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Slovene design team Oloop invited Liz Collins to set up together an exhibition and participatory project Between Inside and Outside. It happened in the Gallery of Artists Association of Ljubljana in October 2018.
The presented project is Oloop’s third in line with the aim to reconsider textiles’s place in modern society. During the project Between Inside and OutsideOloop held participatory experiential events to found out the possibilities of textiles – placed between the body and the space. According to the distance from the body, the textile surface can be in the role of clothing, walls, fences, as well as national boundaries.
Special guests join the project: American artist and designer Liz Collins; performer and vocalist Irena Z. Tomazin; choreographer, dancer and yoga teacher Valentina Čabro and painter Joni Zakonjšek. The curator of the exhibition was dr. Barbara Predan.
